The mission of the 40-member Ledyard RTC is to ensure that Republican candidates are elected and appointed to local, state, and federal offices and that the Town of Ledyard has a fair and open government with integrity and accountability.

The principal objective of the Ledyard Republican Town Committee is the selection of a slate of candidates for all municipal offices, individuals to town commissions, boards, and agencies, and for delegates to party conventions for the Town of Ledyard

The Town Committee helps plan and assist in the financing of campaigns for the endorsed candidates for local and state elections, establish the party platform, stay informed of issues facing the Town, and give guidance and assistance to elected officials in achieving the goals of the endorsed platform.
